SKATEPARK am Freizeitpark Mayrhofen / Zillertal
Bowl
Designed and planned by the local skate scene. Implemented by Hannes Sautner (Lindner und VorhoferKG) in 2011.
The bowl is the heart of our skate park and is one of the most popular concrete bowls in Tyrol. A shallow end with a height of 1.40 m leads over 3 hips into the 1.90 m deep deep end. In addition to a 2 m high taco, we have incorporated a speed element to ensure that you never run out of speed in the trannies. The entire surface was renovated and resealed in 2024. Beginners, advanced skaters and pros will all get their money's worth here.

Long Ledge
Our Long Ledge is approximately 40 cm high and just under 6 m long. For a long time, this obstacle was unfortunately the only street element in the park, but fortunately that changed in 2024...
Curved Ledge
Neuzugang im Jahr 2024! New addition in 2024! Roughly 35 cm high and 5.80 m long. Created by Roman Astleitner (Fancy Concrete Skateparks)

Granit Bench
Urban-style ledge made of granite with a length of 2 m and a height of 30 cm (new since 2024)
Skatepark Mayrhofen
The Mayrhofen Skatepark consists of a bowl, which represents the first phase of an original plan. The plan at the time was to build the entire skatepark in two phases. The second phase was to be implemented as the street area of the park.
As the second phase (street area) is located in a red zone, the expansion plans cannot be implemented until a protective wall has been erected next to the site.
We are eagerly awaiting the implementation of the entire skate park concept with a street skate area. It is also important in order to introduce children and beginners to the spirit of our sport and raise the level of the park.
The original plans have long since been revised and refreshed – AND – we have the opportunity to implement these plans with the local community, locals and related regional companies. All membership fees and all proceeds from events, etc. go towards funding the implementation of the missing second construction phase and maintaining the existing facility.
In addition to the still missing street skate area, we are also urgently looking for a space for bad weather and the winter season, where we would like to create an indoor area with a ramp.
In cooperation with Airparc Zillertal (KABOOM) in Kaltenbach, which has an indoor ramp, we have negotiated a 20% discount for members of the club so that skating is also possible in bad weather!
